The DNI dance company, CIA DNI, will be giving various performances in the upcoming months:

- August 17th -- Maipo Theater with Mariano Montes -- Located at Esmeralda 449. The entrance is TBD however discounted tickets will be available at the DNI Studio
aRealidades debut in Europe
From the 19th of October to the 1st of November 2009, Compañia DNI was in Europe to present aRealidades-- the company's newest production, created and directed by Pablo Villarraza and Dana Frìgoli. Here are some pictures from the show.
aRrealidades is a journey in the shape of a contemporary Argentinian tango dance play, seeking to explore human instincts in social relations in a setting where the stereotypical tango does not exist.
Observed is the violence of which we are all part of, one way or another. Investigated are the roles of the man and of the woman and their interrelation. Contemplated are the victim and the perpetrator as a cyclical organism.
Spoken of is: love, in its infinite forms; the union and silence; the speed of our time; the power of the strong; the comfort of the weak; the discardable and the recyclable.
Brought into view are creation and hope, a moment of self control, self-examination... and perhaps accepting oneself.
About tolerance and respect.
About the world we live in today.

Stockholm, Sweden
From the 19th to the 25th of October Compañia DNI was in Stockholm, Sweden for a week-long debut of aRealidades. Apart from the show, the week included intensive seminars taught by Pablo and Dana as well as all the other members of the Company -- Cristian Duarte, Carolina Lafata, Adrian Ferreyra, Rocio Lequio, Pedro Farias, and Julieta Falivene.
Mantova, Italy
From the 28th of October to the 1st of November Compañia DNI was be in Mantova, Italy.
Compañia DNI is a dance company that has been built working with passion; imagining every day as having a new horizon.
Every time we gather to train as a team, the group shares the process of the individual and the experience as a collective. We form each other, expand our limits, with every drop of sweat of our bodies and souls.
Under the direction of Pablo Villarraza and Dana Frìgoli, we investigate tango and its connection as a form of expression, producing artistic works that capture the baggage that is our stories of time past, of being human with individual origins. We search out the unknown, the fear and the emptiness, in order to discover the new.
"... La Compañía is investigation, it is a family, it is knowing the smells, the good and the bad days. I have bad days just as any other and my dancers put up with me and in turn I put up with my dancers. I trust in the leader that is Pablo for more than Pablo is in any given day and I trust in my dancers for more than they are any given day that we come together to investigate. And it is this relationship that forms this Compañía-- it is being a group. It is in this relationship that I trust.
And the force, the possibility that this creates is unique. I don't know if this is innovative, but I do know that it is something wonderful, the ability to have a group take the stage and register how differently the energy moves amongst us. It is not one couple plus another couple-- it is a block that is moving in unison, transmitting a message..."
