Relation between Tango and Yoga

  • In the Yoga-classes corporal material for creating forms in Tango are prepared
  • Both techniques respond to the nature of the body and its movements and work with the same concepts of alineation
  • They develop profound and useful knowledge of the body in movement
  • Both search for the origin of energy and its direction
  • They use breathing as support for movement and dynamic changes
  • Yoga supports balancing the nuisances daily life provokes within the body

Methods

  • classes take place in groups
  • it is worked with Yoga Asana (postures), discovering the alignment of every segment of the body
  • movements are soft, controlled and very detailed. The search is for internal, subtle, workings of the body.

  • it is worked with the body as an anatomic structure
  • alignment of neck and head are learned
  • the centre is trained and strengthened

Yoga for beginners


Objectives are preparing the body for the new week, learning the technique used in class and connecting to oneself.

Yoga for Dancers


Is designed for intensive training in order to prepare the body for the dance and the mind for discipline and effort.

Yoga for everybody


It is mainly work on the floor and the aim is to soothe tiredness, reestablish the flow of energy, flexibility and the inner connection. This class is of medium demand where everybody can take part.

What we offer


The department for corporal work has the objective to give specific answer to the need of change of the individual through massages, classes that are designed in order to remind of ones personal chararacteristic and kinesiological attention.

Massages


Massages unblock and reestablish the flow of blood, linfatically and energetically. They release states of understanding in favor of relaxation.

Kinesiology


The method of Postural Global Reeducation looks by stretching or exocentric tensions for the return of the muscle to its normal tonicity and the elasticity which characterizes it, creating spaces in articulations and loosen zones such as the neck, waist, hips etc.
