-- Welcome to Tango 101 --

You have found the homepage dedicated to those starting their tango journey.

The objective of Tango 101 is to create a group of people looking to learn tango in a relaxed environment by sharing with one another. We hope to create that environment by hosting events such as these and by providing extra study material-- texts, video and music-- to the group. With this material and the extra assistance we would like to provide, the members of Tango 101 should be able to advance as rapidly as they like to more advanced levels in DNI where you will learn boleos, ganchos, sacadas, colgadas and much more. You don't know what any of those are? No problem we created a guide to help you sort all of that out.

We inaugurated our first class of members during a party we had on Friday the 27th of November.

Dana gave a short class where we focused on connection between the partners. We also picked up a pretty cool sequence that we used later during our impromptu milonga.

Below are some pictures from that night. If anyone has more pictures, or anything else, to share, or if you would like to become a member of Tango 101, please send me an e-mail at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
